Many people think music started in Heaven. It rather came from heaven and started on the planet earth. Music has been in Heaven and will be there for ever and ever.

Therefore, as a Christian school founded on Jesus Christ, we teach our children music to give glory to God and to enable them to enjoy themselves. Music is fun. It has the power to engage, relax, and energize the children. Early childhood experts have proved that:  

• music trains the brain for higher thinking

• Music contributes to the school and community quality of life.
• Music is a way to understand our cultural heritage as well as 
• Music is a way of expressing gratitude to God for His blessings .
• Music contributes to sensitivity ("feeling intelligence").
• Music education promotes motor development.
• Music encourages teamwork and cohesiveness.
• Music fosters creativity and individuality.
• Music education fosters discipline and commitment.
• Music is a therapeutic outlet for human beings.
• Music is a predictor of success in life.

If you want to know how children love music, play it for or with them, or better place an instrument into their hands!

One of the greatest gifts we can give our children is the love of music. Fortunately it doesn't require expensive lessons and instruments to do this.

Singing, even speaking in a sing-song voice to children is a natural habit for most parents. Something deep inside us tells us that music elicits joy and happiness and even calms our little ones. . Young children love music and rhythm. Parents can rock their children and sing to them as a part of a regular routine each night before bed. It's not necessary to have a great voice, because children are simply happy to hear their parents' or teachers' voice and how they express themselves. What's being communicated is your love for your child, that you'll take care of them and that they are secure.
