Announcement
On
behalf of Tabernacle Christian Academy, we would like to honor all the
parents who have made the right choice by sending their children to our
school. We wish you a fruitful new year 2004 and look forward to keeping
connected with you for our children's spiritual and academic excellence.
We
take this opportunity to inform you that TCA website will be updated on
a regular basis to keep you aware of what is taking place at your
children's school. We will keep improving the pages as much as we can to
meet your satisfaction.
We
encourage you to inform other families to enroll their children at
TCA so as to benefit from our excellent services. We would like to
enable our little ones, future hope of the American society, to build
their life on a rock foundation and to face life challenges.
Choose
TCA for your children's social, academic and spiritual growth. Your
children will be taken care of in a family and Christian environment.

Television
does impact our children's behavior
Television
as an audio-visual means of communication has become a more destructive
tool of our children's lives instead of being constructive, educative
and instructive.
Children
learn and develop skills by observing and experiencing the world around
them. They hardly separate reality from fantasy while watching
television. Television is nowadays providing children with a distorted
and reversed image of the world. Even the so-called Christian TV
stations are displaying movies and clips which no longer reflect human
dignity, righteousness and integrity. Increased TV watching has shown
significant negative impact on the children's school achievement scores.
Other negative end-results include withdrawal, social problems,
attention problems, delinquent and aggressive behavior. In short, the
more time you allow your children to spend watching television per day,
the more likely they will have behavioral problems regardless of problem
content. If you want to enable your children to invest in their studies
and have a successful future, , do limit their TV viewing to at most one
hour per day You will not regret it at all!
