Week of May 3 - 7, 2004
"The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. " (1 Samuel 16:17)
Announcement
On behalf of Tabernacle Christian Academy, we would like to honor all the parents who have made the right choice by sending their children to our school. We wish you a fruitful new year 2004 and look forward to keeping connected with you for our children's spiritual and academic excellence.
We take this opportunity to inform you that TCA website will be updated on a regular basis to keep you aware of what is taking place at your children's school. We will keep improving the pages as much as we can to meet your satisfaction.
We encourage you to inform other families to enroll their children at TCA so as to benefit from our excellent services. We would like to enable our little ones, future hope of the American society, to build their life on a rock foundation and to face life challenges.
Choose TCA for your children's social, academic and spiritual growth. Your children will be taken care of in a family and Christian environment. At TCA, it is all about learning by doing.
For any question, you may contact us by calling 317 844 8248, by faxing us at 317 846 5065 or by e-mailing us at tca@tabernacle.com
2004 - 2005 school registration
In-school registration
We would like to remind the parents whose children are currently enrolled at TCA during this school year 2003-2004 and who have not yet registered their children that time is running short and spots are being filled in by new students. Act now before it gets late!!!
Open registration
There is still room for new students. Save a spot for your little ones. Their presence at TCA will, no doubt, impact and transform their lives at all levels.
At TCA, " haste makes best." ========================================
Tabernacle Christian Academy is looking for a part-time Computer and P.E. Teacher for the school year 2004-2005. The candidate is supposed to be a "born again Christian." If you are interested, walk in or call (317) 844 8248.
USED BOOK SALE

You will also find non A Beka series as well as some science lab materials. For additional information, call the school at 317 844 8248.

Principal's corner
Never underestimate your children
We have been created in God's image. He wants us to be fruitful, successful, heads but not tails. We are supposed to tell our children that they are on earth to overcome and be successful. We have to be supportive, encouraging and positive with our children. We need to tame our tongues while talking to our children. The power of life and death is in our tongues. We use the tongue to bless and to curse, to heal and to hurt, to consume and to extinguish. It is real! Children who have support, who are encouraged and who understand the importance of education are more likely to succeed at school. It is our duty to build our children's self-esteem by letting them know that they are capable human beings created to overcome. On one hand, parents are advised to use encouragement and positive feedback frequently and to seldom criticize. It is our responsibility to support our children in their school and extracurricular activities such as homework, special projects, sports, clubs and hobbies. On the other hand, our children must know that they are accountable for their behavior and decisions and that there are always end-results for every action. In short, encouragement and recognition reinforce learning and enable children to be more successful. We do advise parents to praise their children whenever they succeed and to help them whenever they are stuck. ====================================================================== *************************************************************************************
