TCA 3 Year Olds

1. Child Staff Ratio:

Ten toilet/potty trained children per teacher or childcare staff member. Toilet trained and 31 to 36  months may be grouped with the 3's.

2. Curriculum:

Weekly lesson plans, learning games, and fun-time activities have been accurately designed to save the nursery teacher hours of planning and preparation, and to maximize the education quality.

a) Language Arts:

  Recognition of name, sound, and picture for short vowels and consonants

- Formation of vowels and consonants in upper and lower case

- Language Development and listening skills that include color words, shapes,

  animals, transportation, countries, community helpers, health, safety, manners,

  science.

b) Numbers:

-Simple counting    1 - 30

-Number concepts  1-  15

c) Special classes

Bible

- Lessons related to creation, Bible characters such as Noah, Jonah, Samuel,

  Moses, Isaac, Daniel, Boyhood of Jesus, Good Samaritan, and so on.

Spanish language ( Teacher: Mr. Deogratias  Buhendwa)

 - This fully practical language acquisition class covers very elementary lessons such

    as: identification, introductions, greetings, leave-takings, numbers, colors, Polite

    expressions such as "gracias, de nada,..."
