TCA Bible classes Teacher - Mrs. Dodson As a Christian school, the Bible, God's Holy Word, is a priority class training for our children. It is the Sword that they are supposed to hide in their hearts so that, when the enemy comes like a storm, they may pull their swords out and rise for battle. TCA is highly favored to have Mrs. Imogene Dodson on staff as our Bible teacher. The Lord has anointed her for this life-paying ministry. She has been serving TCA for 26 years. Many of the students she taught have been sending positive testimonies and all of them are socio-economically well-situated and spiritually in good standing. Mrs.Dodson is still productive in the Lord's business at TCA. Her Bible curriculum functions as follows:
-The preschool Bible curriculum is divided by units. A unit consists of Bible stories and verses that are adapted and simplified for the preschoolers' good understanding; it also consists of music and activities that correlate to the topic of each unit. A few of the unit topics are God's Beautiful World, Helping Others, Jesus and His Friends, and The Bible is Special.
- The Kindergarten Bible Curriculum is wider and more detailed with more units of study since the kindergarteners are more attention -focused and have more developed comprehension skills. Each unit consists of Bible stories, Bible verses, Christian music, Bible activities and review games that are correlated to the unit topics. Among the unit topics, I have space to mention My Family and Bible Families, How to be a Friend and We AreThankful. Kindergarteners also begin learning the books of the Bible and finding their unit verses in the Bible.
How awesome it is to participate in this seed planting, watering and growing. Memorable Bible lessons moving beyond TCA walls to impact other people's lives!! Bible classes enabling TCA students to hear the Word, to read it, to study in a simplified way, to memorize it, to hide it in their hearts and apply it to their everyday life.
How amazing it is to teach Bible to preschoolers. They are sponges soaking in everything. We get surprised when parents testify that their children have been quoting Bible verses and giving references, telling and dramatizing Bible stories, and singing Bible-based songs at home. WOW!!!
What an investment it is to teach the little ones to know and to love God. They will no doubt love God and will want to know more about Him when they learn that He loves them so much, that He provides for them and protects them on a daily basis. By loving Him, they will learn to hate evil and to love godliness.
It is the children's inalienable right to learn the Word of God. The Word of God is our spiritual food. Without it, we will face malnutrition. It is the same for the children. Do not blame them to misbehave; you are supposed to help them make good choices. It is their inalienable right to eat like we do though they eat in smaller quantities and in smaller pieces. Likewise, they have to feed on the same Word you feed on and drink from the same fountain you drink from in order to become spiritual giants ready to face the challenges in these last days.
